2019 presidency: ''I have not stepped down for anyone'' - Bukola Saraki

Senate president, Bukola Saraki, has denied media reports claiming he has stepped down from the presidential race. There were reports online earlier today that Saraki had stepped down from the PDP presidential primaries for Atiku Abubakar.

Saraki denied the reports through his campaign spokesperson, Ilemona Onoja, who had an interview with Channels TV this evening.
''It is important to debunk the rumors going round today to the effect that he was stepping down fro some other persons. Dr Saraki has not stepped down, Dr Saraki will not step down for anybody He is not in any conversation and he will not broker any conversation to step down for any other candidate'' he said

The PDP presidential primaries will hold in Rivers state from Tomorrow October 6-7th.
