Breaking News: Atiku Overtakes Tambuwal At PDP Presidential Primaries

A former Vice President of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar, has reportedly overtaken other aspirants at the APC presidential primaries as the party's national convention progresses. 
According to a report by fairtrade, Atiku Abubakar has overtaken the Governor of Sokoto State, Aminu Tambuwal, in the race for the presidential ticket of the Peoples Democratic Party holding in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
 
Atiku’s agent, Deuben Oniyan, is now believed to have received more ballot papers in the ongoing sorting of votes than Tambuwal.
 
Tambuwal was initially in the lead until the turn of events.

The Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics (ASUP) has declared that it would begin an indefinite strike from December 12. The polytechnic lecturers will join their university colleagues who have been on strike for a month.
